I’m New
We understand you might be uncertain visiting a new church (especially during these recent times), so we want to let you know you are welcome to join us for worship. We take the worship of God seriously and are overwhelmed by His undeserving grace that is freely offered to all sinners. Let us help answer some common questions you may have of us and what our worship services are like.
What are worship services like?
We gather each Sunday for a Sunday school teaching at 10:00 a.m. on a certain passage or topic. At 11:00 a.m. we will begin our worship service with singing a mix of traditional hymns and more contemporary songs. We care deeply about confessing solid truths about God so the music we sing will meet those standards, though the style may vary a bit. One of our pastors will then preach from the Bible and explain what God has for us in that text, and how we should live in light of His revealed truth. You can find past sermons and Sunday school messages on our Sermons page.
What denomination is TMBC?
Trenton Missionary Baptist Church is a Baptist church in the Reformed theological tradition. We affirm the Baptist Faith and Message 2000, produced by the Southern Baptist Convention.
What should I wear?
Come as you are, with modesty in mind. We care more about sharing the life changing gospel of Jesus Christ with all who come, than telling you how to dress.
What is there for my children?
We have an age appropriate lesson for young children during the 10:00 a.m. Sunday school lesson time, and we encourage and invite parents to have their children sit with them during the worship service. We believe in worshiping together as a family. Although we encourage children in the worship service, we also have a staffed nursery available. We are with you in this parenthood journey!
Where are you located?
Trenton Missionary Baptist Church is located at 407 Sibley Rd, Trenton, MI 48183, in between Fort Street and West Jefferson. We are less than 5 miles from I-75 and are easily accessible from Downriver Michigan and Detroit. You can find directions to our building by clicking here.
We look forward to seeing you and together worshipping our risen Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!
