Kyle Cogar
Elder
Kyle has been attending TMBC since he was five years old, and was baptized at TMBC when he was eight. He has been serving as a pastor since 2011. He currently attends Knox Theological Seminary, working toward his M.Div. In his spare time, Kyle enjoys reading and spending time with his family. He is married to Jessica and the father to Johnny, David, and Kayla.
Dave Cogar
Elder
Dave and Carole have been married 33 years and are long time members of TMBC. Dave has been grateful to serve as a pastor here since 2003. Dave also works as an electrician at Ford Motor Company.
Ely R. Sagansay
Elder
Reverend Ely Roque Sagansay was born in Bacolod City, Philippines. He is a graduate of International Baptist Theological College in Mandaluyong, Metro Manila, Philippines. Ely was once a classroom teacher. For five years, he was a radio host of the program Gideon 300 at DWGO AM Radio based in Olongapo City, Philippines. Ely also started the radio program “Love is the Reason” used to air on Light House Radio 106.3 FM. Ely was a professor and an administrator of the International Baptist Theological College extension school in Subic, Zambales. Still in the 90s, he served as the director of music at the Greater Detroit Baptist Association of the Southern Baptist Convention (SBC). A decade ago, he pioneered International Community Christian Church in Trenton, Michigan (SBC). Ely has been a pastor for more than three decades. Ely’s life story was featured on Philippine television at 700 Club, a production show in GMA 7. It is available on YouTube at 700 Club Asia with the running title “Walwal”: The Ely Sagansay Story. Ely is the author of “Christmas Every Day,” “Mi Daily Devotion” (First and Second Edition), and “Thanksgiving Every Day” published by Westbow Press. He used to be a guest writer for News Herald-Downriver, Michigan in their Opinion section. He is the man behind the digital devotion site at www.boklitbook.com. Based in Michigan, USA, Ely is married to Vemerlyn Dumala-Sagansay, now blessed by the Lord with four (4) children, namely: Eliezer, Ely Jr., Eliel Lyn, and Elmer John. All of them are God-fearing children and love the Lord.
Eliezer Sagansay
Elder
Eliezer has been serving as a pastor since 2011. He went to Golden Gate Seminary, and extension site in Michigan. He was ordained as a minister of the Gospel in 2017. Eliezer serves as a preaching pastor and music minister for TMBC. He also works as a registered nurse. Eliezer is husband to Judy and father to Isla, Abby, and Jaiden.
